Welcome to my blog!

My super awesome husband gave me a super fabulous camera a few years back and I've been hopelessly obsessed and have driven my children crazy with, "look at Mommy" and "you can have a piece of candy if you let me take 5 pictures", ever since. Here are just a few of those moments I steel away from my uber cute kiddos, and a few more moments I occasionaly get to take of other people...to the relief of my family. I do love to practice on anyone who will let me, so if you would like your picture taken let me know!

Up she goes.

Abby is venturing into a new hobby...climbing. She'll be scaling sheer cliffs by the time she's a teen.

But for now, she's practicing on the kitchen table.

This was the first time she climbed up onto a chair.

Then she looked behind her and saw another challenge. The table!

I, being the caring mother that doesn't want her babies head cracked open on the tile floor kind of person that I am, told her no, no.

She thought about listening, then swung her knee up high and wiggled herself onto the table.

Insert imaginary picture here.

It was her first time climbing that high and I didn't know how stable she would be, so no, I did not take a picture of her on the table. Instead I ran over, grabbed her up, and put her back down on the floor.

Yes, I'm a mean mom who destroys her children's dreams of climbing to higher heights.

But at least their brains remain intact.

For now.
